John Yarmuth on Fox News: "We have said from day one that we cannot lower costs. What we are trying to do is make them go up less"

Double talk? See for yourself: Yarmuth on Fox News

November 19th 2009

I have been  very busy these last few weeks, since the protest outside of Yarmuth's office. I spoke at the a teaparty gathering on Thursday the 5th. I attended the Blugrass Institute sponsored event promoting Charter Schools in Kentucky, on the 6th. I will be Championing their cause and helping them get  petitions signed. We attended the Rand Paul Town Hall where all the candidates were introduced to a crowd of about 300. My team met with a political liason from Humana on the 11th. I spoke at Bellarmine to a political science group on the 12th. We held a fundraiser on the 15th. I spoke at the Iroquis Business Association meeting on the 19th. From there we went to the Rand Paul small business event where I was honored to speak as well. That evening we attended the 912 event!

Remember, I am working hard and I need contributions. No contribution is too small. Mine is a grassroots effort, by, and for the people. I hope to see you while I am on the campaign trail!  Marilyn

Election Coverage November 3rd 2009

Virginia swung 24% in one year back to the conservatives. R-McDonnell beat D-Deeds 59% to 41%. Not enough Obama magic to go around.

New Jersey conservative Christie whipped the leftist Corzine 50% to 44%. The people in Jersey have apparently finally had enough. Obama spent a huge amount of political capital on this one.

New York 23rd had a super tight race between the liberal Owens and the independent conservative Hoffman. Hoffman who was said to not have a chance, almost pulled off the upset.

I think that "We The People" have made a statement loud and clear. We are in the process of taking our country back. The momentum is ours and it is because of responsible hard working Americans like you that are paying attention.

TOGETHER WE WILL GET THIS DONE

Nov. 3rd Healthcare Rally outside John Yarmuth's office. I supported the opposition today outside Yarmuth's office orchestrated by The Louisville Grassroots Teaparty. I spoke to a receptive crowd. I was interviewed by Wave-3 which was the only news channel to cover the event. It aired Tuesday evening.

Nov 3rd John Yarmuth interview on Fox News. John Yarmuth was interviewed on Fox News today. He was challenged with the polling data that shows only 42% of Americans support Nancy Pelosi's healthcare plan. Yarmuth blamed conservatives for distortions and misinformation that has led to the waning support for the legislation. He commented that when he actually got to speak one on one with people, he could make them "understand what is in it for them". What he really meant was give aways and entitlements. He also reminded the Fox viewers that he and the Democrats in charge, never said that they could reduce healthcare costs. "We could only lower the amount of increase in costs".

ARE YOU INFORMED?

John Yarmuth VOTED FOR the 800 billion "non-stimulus" stimulus that was supposed to create 3.5 million new jobs, but instead lost nearly 3 million. John Yarmuth VOTED FOR the complete government takeover of healthcare. This leftist administration's ultimate goal is to CONTROL IT, REGULATE IT, RATION IT AND TAX IT. John Yarmuth VOTED FOR the business devastating, job destroying and home foreclosing energy tax.

Louisvillians, do your part for our country. Help me defeat Yarmuth. Forward to all of your like minded family & friends.

AMERICA, IT IS UP TO US

"Freedom is but a fragile thing and never but one generation away from extinction. It is not ours by inheritance. It must be fought for and defended constantly by each generation, for it only comes once to a people. Those who have known freedom and lost it have never known freedom again". -Ronald Wilson Reagan

Please help Marilyn Parker defeat John Yarmuth and the socialist agenda that he supports.

October 20th
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Obama administration on Monday launched a new program to help state and local housing finance agencies provide hundreds of thousands of affordable mortgages to first time home buyers.

As Yogi Berra would say, " It's de ja vu all over again". This is just another pay off to the special interests that got Obama elected and a vote buy to potential first time home buyers. Freddie and Fannie are administering the program. Acorn is probably involved, just not publicly since they are in hot water after being caught promoting teenage prostitution and tax evasion. Here we are over three years after the bottom dropped out, and we still have no meaningful economic stimulus aimed at Main Street, small business or the rest of the private sector. This downturn started with housing, so common sense would dictate that the problems in the housing sector be addressed immediately without any further delay. The federal government has spent over $80 billion to prop up two failed car companies and have created no new jobs with their porculus package. The housing and related sectors have shed close to 4 million jobs over the last three years.

The Obama Administration turned up their attacks on Fox News over the weekend. Chief of Staff David Axelrod said,"We consider Fox News to be biased and that they operate with a particular point of view".

Fox has taken over the constitutionally mandated role of the media (to keep government honest) from the traditional news services and networks. On their news shows, Fox attempts to bring both sides of the story to the people. Since Fox News doesn't pay homage to Obama and his corrupt group of socialist minions "they operate with a particular point of view". Apparently, the so called main stream media, if you believe the Obama Administration, is satisfying it's duty to vet elected officials in an unbiased responsible fashion. Why do we know much, much more about Sarah Palin and her family than we will ever find out about Obama and his Czars? We would need two more news services the size of Fox News just to keep up with the rapid implementation of this radical, chaotic agenda. It is just coming too fast and too furiously. Without Fox News and the Internet this administration would control the news. We are that close to losing our country.

Louisville Let's Do Our Part

Representative Yarmuth supports and votes for the radical agenda and policies of the corrupt Obama administration. We can't, as individuals, effect change in Washington by going to DC and simply standing on our soap box. We can effect change right here in Louisville, KY. by standing up and refusing to back down. Ultimately, all politics must be impacted locally.

Louisvillians, do your part for our country. Help us defeat Yarmuth.

Oct 1st-The Ed & Ed Show on My View Matters 1080 WKJK. These hosts are conservative with a definite libertarian bent. We spent the hour discussing why I was running for office, term limits, tax cuts and job creation. They are hard on both parties.

Oct.13th- I spoke before the Jefferson County Republican executive committee. This group is really hard at it. Try to show them support and volunteer.

Oct. 19th- I attended the annual Home Builder's Association of Louisville HIPAC fundraiser. There were over 500 in attendance. This group is representative of the hardest hit sector of our economy. The HBAL is not just home builders, but a huge cross section of businesses, suppliers, contractors, insurance companies, realtors and other professionals. The HBAL is ready to go to work to bring about change that we can actually put our trust in and over $30,000 was raised to support pro growth candidates. Please try and support HBAL members. There are thousands of them in this community.

AMERICA, IT IS UP TO US

We are at a point in history where America as a nation is sitting on a precipice. We can step up now as a people, as responsible hardworking Americans, or we can allow her to be pulled off the edge. We need good people to use their voices, their energy and their money to support candidates that will work to restore the values of common sense, dignity for human life, and smaller, honest, less intrusive government that does not trample on our liberties and our constitution. Marilyn Parker for Congress will share with you her passionate vision, and solutions for our future. Economic times are tough, but if we do not invest a little now to take back congress in 2010, we stand to lose so much more in the very near future.

Marilyn Parker For Congress

9/30/09

On Thursday evening at 7pm, I will be "appearing" with the hosts of "My View Matters" on radio 1080, WKJK-AM. This is an hour long format where I will have the privilege of speaking out for fiscal responsibility, health care reform that makes sense (without costing our country $800 billion that it does not have) and other current issues.

This is a great opportunity for you to invite others to tune in as I share my vision for both our Country and our community.

~~Marilyn

9/21/09

Good day to all concerned citizens,

Thought for the day: If a 20 year old courageous young lady and her 24 year old friend and citizen reporter can expose ACORN for the massive, corrupt institution that it is, indicted in 9 out of 11 states in which it was under investigation for voter registration fraud, Marilyn Parker, as a concerned citizen representative, has a very good chance of un-seating Rep. Yarmuth!

News: The Baucus Bill is probably a foregone piece of legislation. The CBO reports that it still leaves 25 million people uninsured, it spends too liberally on increased Medicaid benefits and emphasizes the use of co-ops. Co-ops have to date, only worked successfully in small groups, are privately paid and are managed independently. They would have to be managed either by the government or private insurance. Either way they would be very costly.

Remember we need smaller less corrupt government. The best plan for healthcare reform is to keep the power and choice in the hands of the American people and their physicians. To increase coverage for the uninsured, provide a real stimulus to the private sector and small businesses that creates jobs so that 30 million people can go to work and be eligible for employer provided benefits. Aggrandize healthcare alliances for small businesses and individuals to band together to reduce premiums and increase availability. For the several million still left out of the system, extend Medicaid benefits only to a very small degree. Cut spending in other government entitlements to pay for it. Control healthcare spending by raising deductibles, offset by a tax cut to make the healthcare consumer more aware of those first healthcare dollars spent. Allow catastrophic claims to be 100% tax credited. TORT reform has to be implemented, saving an estimated 400 billion. Incentivize healthy lifestyles. Healthcare consumers as well as physicians need to be aware of healthcare costs so they together can best determine a plan of treatment based on their medical needs as well as their financial needs.

Remember, it was the mentality 10 years ago that everyone had the right to own a home whether they could afford it or not. ACORN, lobbied congress to pressure banks to give out loans to low income, no income high risk borrowers, which created high risk spending, which almost toppled the banks and brought us TARP. TARP that wasn't regulated or controlled by either administration. Now this administration wants to continue the trend of high risk spending.

The regulation that finally comes, now comes with a government agenda that will put insurance companies out of business within several years just like it did in Canada. Then there will be no real competition as touted by this administration. You can view President Obama stating this fact to the SEIU that private insurance would be eliminated in 5 to 10 years. Canada ironically is now going back to a more private based system

Local activity: Marilyn Parker For Congress secured a booth at the Gaslight Festival. We passed out thousands of pieces of literature to concerned, discerning citizens that are paying attention, and are worried about the direction our country is taking. We were fortunate enough to get to speak to many of them this past weekend in J-Town.

Fundraising: We will be having a fundraiser soon. The probable date is October 25th. More details to come soon. We are working tirelessly night and day to win this election to do Louisville’s part to restore logic and common sense in Washington. Please know that it cannot happen without the support of good citizens such as you, and campaigns cannot operate without contributions. Rep. Yarmuth will secure millions. Marilyn Parker is a working, citizen representative, the kind of representative of which Congress is in desperate need. Please make any type of contribution large or small to ensure that we have a strong candidate for the 3rd congressional district of Ky. A common sense candidate that is on the right side of the issues. Rep. Yarmuth is pro abortion, voted for the 800 billion non-stimulus stimulus, Cardcheck, a $1700 per family utility tax that will destroy jobs and cause more home foreclosures. Rep. Yarmuth freely admits that his ultimate goal for healthcare reform is a single payer government system with no private insurance available.

The radical left evidently views Marilyn as a threat to be reckoned with because they are all over the internet spreading vitriol about Marilyn's candidacy. They know that Marilyn is always where the people are, and she is on the common sense side of the issues. They know that Marilyn is an outspoken candidate for conservatism. They have even gone as far as to claim that Marilyn has called Presdent Obama a terrorist. We are not sure where they got that piece of propaganda. She has stated that this administration gave 90 million dollars to Hamas in the “stimulus” bill. Hamas happens to be a terrorist organization bent on the destruction of Israel. I guess that is their spin. Please watch for coming details on Marilyn's campaign fundraising efforts. If you are truly concerned about the future of our children. make a contribution to help take back congress in 2010 before this administration can institute any more radical policies and agenda that will affect America for generations to come.

Please forward this message to all of your like-minded friends and family on your contact list. We have to reach as many people as possible. This is a grassroots effort.

Marilyn Parker is fighting for faith, family, fiscal responsibility and our national defense.

9/15/09

I attended the Hal Heiner Mayoral Announcement event at the Tumbleweed restaurant at Waterfront Park this morning. Rebecca Jackson introduced Mr. Heiner to the crowd of around 350 in attendance. All of the media were present with cameras rolling. It was a state and local who's who of conservative and Republican dignitaries and elected officials. I spoke with Councilman Heiner and many others and had wonderful intros and discussions. Along with Mr. Heiner I spoke with Ms. Jackson and and her son, Councilman Robin Engle, who had just returned from DC, gave me a rousing report on the 1.5 to 2 million patriot march he had witnessed. I also met with Councilman Stuart Benson from the 20th District. Towards the end of the get together, State Senator Dan Seum, who I had the honor of sharing the podium with at the April 15th teaparty rally got with me and invited me to speak at his fundraiser this evening at The Lodge at Lake Forest. in the Lake Forest subdivision in eastern Jefferson County.

Please come out and offer your support to like minded conservatives and let's keep the momentum going. The fundraiser will begin at 6:00 PM at the Lodge which is located at 511 Woodlake Dr. in Lake Forest.

9/12/09

Middletown Family Fun Festival

The festival was a huge success. The support from the crowd was 10 to 1 in favor of my campaign in opposition to the socialist John Yarmuth. Our booth was abuzz with activity for 2 solid days. It is clear that the word is getting out with many people who have already heard about my campaign stopping by to offer excited support.

Many people have already heard me speak at the many different events, and are excited by my energy, passion and knowledge of the issues.

Some troubling news is that for two straight weeks, after campaign events, my server was apparently sabotaged in the wee hours of Sunday morning and it subsequently crashed. Sorry about the inconvenience. We are ramping up security measures to see that it won't happen again.

Volunteer meetings are starting to ramp up. If you are interested please contact me. Let's take our country back.

9/8/09

Commentary on P. Obama's healthcare Address:

I was expecting lightning bolts and stars to fall from the sky but it didn't happen. It was the same rhetoric that citizens have been hearing for months. There was one "almost" concession for conservatives. The president is going to study, I repeat study TORT reform. The concession for liberals was that the public option would be included, but only for the uninsured.

The president states that he "pulled the economy back from the brink". The economy has had a very slight uptick but his administration has lost 2.4 million jobs. The economy would have been much better off if he would have controlled spending, cut taxes and created an environment that could create jobs, which would allow access to employer provided benefits.

It sounds very nice to say that health care consumers will not be excluded or dropped from coverage due to a preexisting condition, but statistics dictate that costs will go up not down, for everyone, no matter who delivers the plan. Covering preexisting conditions, not capping lifetime limits on claims, adding 53 new, forever, government agencies, and insuring 30 million uninsured, will logically increase costs. If you don't believe me then just ask the CBO.

Insurance companies will be able to survive this administration's policies. After several years insurance companies will be run out of business and then there will be no competition and no country to turn to for medical care as a last resort. When insurance companies are faced with covering preexisting conditions, forced to pay for pre-screening tests such as mammograms and colonoscopies, there is no cap on lifetime coverage, and they are regulated in how much they can charge, which they already are, they will be headed out of business. Remember the government doesn't have to stay viable with a 2.2 to 3% profit margin as do insurance companies do. The sky is the limit for the government that doesn't have to turn a profit. The government can always print more money, increase the deficit, or perhaps borrow more if China hasn't already cut up the credit card.. If the president wanted to obtain savings from big business he should have gone after the pharmaceuticals that garner a 19% profit. The pharmaceuticals are in bed with Obamacare because they understand that they will make even bigger profits when treatments are rationed because it is considered by the new government bureaucracy to be better to "take a pill."

The president also talked about insuring those that don't have health insurance by offering them the advantage to be in a health insurance exchange that includes a government option and an insurance option. He stated that he would offer "tax credits" ie. welfare checks, to pay for it. He said the government option would be paid for by the premiums it collects (from the tax credits it gives) from the people that couldn't afford it to begin with. It all makes perfect sense.

P. Obama also made the statement let's "keep what works and fix what's broken." Wait a minute, isn't that what conservatives have been saying for months!

I personally do not appreciate the smears and insults that were thrown at conservatives when all bipartisan efforts were off the table from the very beginning from this administration. There were no free market reforms, and every amendment that was brought to the table requiring verifications standards for illegals, or to ensure that the loopholes for government sponsored abortions were not allowed, were all voted down along party lines. I applaud the congressman Joe Wilson that yelled out "that's a lie" in reference to Obama stating that there were no provisions for illegals obtaining coverage, or government sponsored abortions.

Death panels-Obama ridiculed the term "death panel." It is the health advisory boards that will restrict, ration, and regulate health care, that will increase mortality rates. For example, in Canada and the UK, the cancer survival rates are 15% lower than the US. because of rationing and diagnostic delays.

The president talks about "character and self reliance" while at the same time proposes a huge entitlement program to make people even more dependent on the government when there are other solutions available for reforming heaalth care. The people are speaking their concerns and Washington is not listening.

President Obama's rhetoric was divisive and contradictory. He could not logistically explain how he would keep his reform deficit neutral.

The president once again trashed former president Bush, and continually talks about the debt that he inherited but never explains why he has almost tripled it. He will not tell you that the Bush deficit in 2007 was less than 400 billion, or that the Bush deficit in 2007 was less than 200 billion, and that TARP was brought to us not by President Bush but by liberals lobbying for their socialistic housing plan- low income subprime loans.

The president stated that physicians and nurses were signed on to his plan. Not true-60% to 70% of medical professionals do not sign on to this plan.

President Obama did not move mountains in this address, and that's what he needed to do to convince the American people.

9/6/09

The Sept. 5th tea party was a great success with over 4000 in attendance. I appreciate the supporters that visited my booth and the constant applause, and standing O’s during my speech. There was fun music and excellent speakers that understand where America is at this point in time. They spoke about freedom from corrupt and over-intrusive government. I was also very pleased with the national media coverage on site.

This administration, everyday, becomes more embarrassing to Americans. The green czar thinks the Bush White House was responsible for 9/11, and the new science czar wants forced abortions to give everyone a better quality of life, through population control. President Obama and this administration appear desperate to pull any kind of healthcare legislation together at this point. We need to pull together as Americans to restore logic and common sense to our government and we must continue to oppose every piece of bungled legislation with which these socialist have come up.

Please come and visit with me at my booth at the Middletown Festival this coming weekend. I hope to see you there.

I am asking for your support. So please visit my website and sign up, or contribute today.

It is time to take our country back.

8/28/09 The GLI sponsored "Capital Connection" featuring Representative Yarmuth was very informative. Representative Yarmuth outlined his socialist vision for America. His stated goal was that "Every American be on a government run single payer healthcare system".

Some of the questions and talking points were:

The most memorable part of the event was when the question was posed,"How are we going to pay off a 9 trillion dollar debt?" Rep. Yarmuth answered," I don't know." His suggestion was to print more money or "we could grow the economy." He wasn't sure which was a better solution. The liberal's idea of growing the economy is to fund cherry picked projects that benefit the ;special interest groups that keep the socialists in power.

"Family health insurance plans would increase in cost by $1,800 per year". What was not discussed was the resulting tax increase that will ensue when 40 million new recipients will be added to the entitlement system. It was not mentioned that insurance premiums as well as taxes will increase when pre-existing conditions are added to the cost of coverage.

"150 teachers were allowed to keep their jobs in Louisville because of the stimulus money" However, the cost of transporting kindergarten children on 1-1/2 hour bus rides twice a day, some in excess of 30 miles, was not mentioned. Nor were the cost savings, that would be realized if students were allowed to attend their neighborhood schools. A real stimulus should stimulate the entire economy.

"Medicare is extremely efficient". Obama just stated at his Montana Townhall, "Between 100 and 150 billion dollars a year could be saved if waste and fraud were eliminated from Medicare". Medicare is not a model of efficiency.

A question was posed: "Is mental healthcare coverage included in the legislation"? Yarmuth was proud to state,"TARP funds are available to fund mental healthcare". Why are Toxic Asset Relief Program funds going to pay for mental healthcare? For people who aren't aware, this program was designed to get the toxic sub-prime mortgages off the bank's books in order to free up credit. Yarmuth showed no embarrassment in making this statement.

A question was posed: "How will transportation projects be funded"? Yarmuth unashamedly stated,"GPS could meter vehicle usage in order to levy a energy consumption tax to pay for projects". Orwellian, isn't.

Fourteen thousand people lose their health insurance everyday which ironically is the same number of people that are losing their jobs everyday. No mention was made on how the government could provide a real stimulus of tax cuts to restore resources to the actual revenue producers that supply jobs, so that 30 million people can go back to work and be eligible for employer provided health benefits.

This man is admittedly a socialist. I have sat and listened to Yarmuth four times in the last 2 weeks run off a litany of government program after government program that in his opinion will solve all of the countries problems.

To quote Ronald Wilson Reagan," Government is not the solution to our problems, government is the problem".

8/27/09 The KNA sponsored talk with Rep. Yarmuth

There were approximately 60 nurses in attendance. Nurses wanted to know:

Since jobs were lost in Massachusetts government run healthcare, and the state is 1/2 billion dollars in debt, how is this administration going to not lose nursing jobs as well? Rep. Yarmuth proposed that costs were not contained right from the very beginning (rationing) and the question was not really relevant to healthcare. He also stated that only 3% of the population was added on to their system and most of the population was much healthier than the rest of the country. Massachusetts went into debt to insure only an additional 3% of the population that was healthy already?

The question was asked "Would our taxes go over 50%" and Rep. Yarmuth used Holland as an example of high taxation, "but look what you get for it" your education is paid for, healthcare is paid for, and citizen's even get a $400 dollar check every month plus around $4000 a year for vacations. (I personally do not want my tax dollars going to fund other people's vacations!)

Is Tax payer funded Abortions in this bill? Rep. Yarmuth answered that it was not. However just 2 weeks prior on WAVE TV 3 his response was that abortions were already funded by the government. (So what's the big deal)

Will illegals be covered under the public option? Once again the response was no. What was not revealed was that there is no language in the bill preventing illegals from obtaining coverage. Conservatives made multiple amendments to the legislation requiring verification of legal status and the amendments were all voted down by Democrats.

When asked why tax deductions are not in the legislation the answer was that tax deductions would "feed the monster." Who is the monster? You and I?

When asked about the mortality rates of cancer patients in the UK and Canada which are 15% higher than in the US, (due to diagnostic waits and treatments) the answer was that he would need to verify those statistics.

Rep. Yarmuth stated that we have a moral obligation to provide healthcare to the uninsured, and we are the only country that does not have a government sponsored program. Did he forget about the public hospitals, free clinics, medicare and medicaid that we already have in this country? What about the moral obligation to the citizens that have worked hard all their life, and lived healthy lifestyles but will have their care rationed and regulated under any government option.

8/20/09 Front page Courier Journal: John Yarmuth of Kentucky's 3rd district said, "Having a public insurance option is critical to providing the necessary competition to the marketplace and the choice of plans needed to ensure all Americans always have access to high quality, affordable health care. I will only support a bill that includes a public insurance option and I am confident that it will be part of the bill we send to the President's desk." The fact remains that businesses in a struggling economy will dump their employees private insurance benefits in favor of the cheap government option. This isn't competition, it is government takeover by default.

As a minion of President Obama, evidently Congressman Yarmuth is planning on usurping the will of over 70% of the people in the 3rd district to advance this administration's socialist agenda.

8/19/09 "The ultimate Appointment" town hall healthcare forum put on by two local physicians wives was a huge success last pm with over 1000 in attendance. The panel comprised six local but well renowned physicians and one nationally renowned bio ethicist. Some of the topics that discussed were:

  • A health care advisory board will be established of a panel of 27 comprised of only one medical professional
  • Dr. Emmanuel's brother is advising this administration on bioethics based on the premise that healthcare should be delivered based on an individuals intrinsic worth and productivity, using "evidenced based guidelines which would ration care to seniors, Alzheimer's patients, the unborn, infants and any other diagnosis or handicap that renders an individual "nonproductive."
  • Physicians have already received 25% in pay cuts through cuts in medicare and insurance payouts and are looking at another 20% in cuts down the road.
  • When Canada introduced a public option it only took 2 years before the whole country went almost entirely to the public option.
  • Obstetricians will be forced to provide abortions
  • In the United Kingdom patients are required to wait 3 to 6 months for necessary surgeries.
  • Frankfort is already collecting a healthcare database that will be sent to Washington
  • Medicare A and B has 75 trillion in unfunded liability, and part D has 17.2 trillion
  • The issue of the "death panel" was discussed as an overly strong term to reference to the necessity for having a living will or advance directive which the panel promoted as beneficial for patient's and their families. The concern should come from future regulation that will ensue if the current healthcare legislation passes.

8/13/09 Obama in his own words, telling America he wants to eliminate private health insurance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-bY92mcOdk

8/10/09 I am pleased to announce that the live discussion at WAVE on August 3rd went well. I challenged rep, Yarmouth on the fact that he has to date refused to attend any town hall requested meetings. He has tentative dates with no firm schedule available ti his constituents. Secondly, I explained that polls show that the majority of Americans are happy with their private insurance, and they do not want a government run bureaucracy controlling and rationing their care, especially at the expense of adding to the ever escalating national debt. I challenged the fact that TORT reform is not included in any of the proposed healthcare bills, however, congress could find it necessary to include taxpayer funded abortions. He called my concerns "a diatribe" and "she certainly has her conservative talking points down" of which I was thoroughly flattered. Today the American Small Business Partnership gathered outside Rep. Yarmuth's office again to voice their concern over this ill thought out intrusive piece of legislation. The radio spot with Les Naimen went well and there was an informed and lively discussion regarding how Americans concerns over this proposed Healthcare legislation are being denigrated and marginalized by the DNC and the media.

MARK YOUR CALENDER FOR THE SEPTEMBER 5TH TEAPARTY EXPRESS RALLY, CENTRAL PARK IS THE PROPOSED SITE. THERE WILL BE A GOOD NUMBER OF CONSERVATIVE SPEAKERS INCLUDING MYSELF, BOOTHS AND MUSIC. COME SHOW YOUR GRASSROOTS SUPPORT FOR CONSERVATIVE CANDIDATES!

8/02/09 I would like to announce that I will be representing the opposing view point on the controversial pending healthcare legislation. John Yarmuth will also be there to defend his position in favor of single payer government run healthcare. This live discussion will be broadcast on Monday August 3rd at 10:30 AM on WAVE TV, Insight channel 6. Don't miss it. *Also I will be on AM radio channel 970 at 10:00PM Sunday August 9th discussing the government run healthcare issue again. Live with Les Naiman
